How do I download my software?

To download your software go to the top of this page, enter the email address you supplied when you ordered and your order reference number, then press the Download button.

I already have the full version, how do I upgrade to the latest version?

To upgrade to the latest full version of a product:

  • Go to the top of this page.
  • Enter the email address you supplied when you ordered and your order reference number, then press the Download button; the new version will begin downloading.
  • After the new version has finished downloading, uninstall the current version from your computer.
  • Finally, install the new version you just downloaded.

What's my order reference number?

Your order reference number is listed in the download details email you received from us when you first ordered. If you didn't receive a download details email, please contact Customer Service.

Why isn't my order reference number recognized?

If your order reference number isn't recognized, you may have accidently entered it incorrectly.

You can make sure you're entering the correct order reference number by checking the download details email you received from us when you ordered.

I'm having trouble downloading my software, how do I get help?

Some download managers can interfere with the download process. If you're using a download manager and are experiencing any problems downloading, please disable the download manager and try again.

If you still can't download your software, please contact Customer Service.

What payment methods are available?

You can pay via:

How will I know if my order has been processed?

We will send you an email once your order has been processed.

How will you deliver my order to me?

Your order is delivered to you via electronic download. We will send you full instructions on how to download your order after it's processed.

How long will it take for me to receive my order?

If you paid by credit card or PayPal, your order will be delivered instantly. If you paid by PayPal eCheck your order will be delivered within five business days of receipt of payment.

What happens after I order?

We'll contact you as soon as your order has been processed. Credit card and PayPal orders are processed immediately, but purchases made by PayPal eCheck can take up to five business days to process. If you've ordered using one of these payment methods and you haven't heard from us after five business days, please contact Customer Service.

After your order has been processed, you will receive a download instructions email from Otaku Software.

Please allow up to two hours after your order has been processed to receive these emails. If your email account has a spam-filter, these emails may be sent to your junk email folder. If you're using a spam filtering service that requires manual email authorization, such as Spam Arrest, please allow up to one business day to receive these emails.

The download instructions email contain an order reference number. To download your software:

  1. Visit the Help page.
  2. Enter your order reference number and email address.
  3. Click the Download button to download an installer for your software.
  4. Run the downloaded installer and follow the instructions. You can install the full version without uninstalling the trial version, and all your settings will remain the same.

Can I use a product on both my desktop and laptop if I've only bought one license?

Yes, a single license allows you to use a product on both your desktop and laptop. All our products are licensed for individual-use, which means that you can install and use them on your everyday computers (a desktop and a laptop, for example), but must purchase a separate license for every other person who uses them.

Do I get free upgrades?

Yes, all our products come with 1 year of free upgrades.

How long can I use the product for?

After you buy a product you can use it (and any free upgrades) for as long as you want, and if you need to re-install it you can always re-download it from the Help page. Your license will never expire, and you will never be forced to upgrade.
