DeskSpace 1.5.8.10 Released

DeskSpace 1.5.8.10 has been released. This version includes the following changes and bug fixes:

  • Feature – Added compatibility with Google Talk.
  • Feature – DeskSpace now defaults to a different, more compatible key combination when run under a Virtual Machine.
  • Feature – Improved compatibility when switching to windows.
  • Feature – Improved compatibility with laptop timers.
  • Feature – Misc. performance and memory improvements.
  • Bug Fix – Fixed a bug where holding down the Arrow keys while the Desktop Cube was shown would force DeskSpace to keep rotating the cube as many times as the key repeat event fired, instead of stopping as soon as the key was released.
  • Bug Fix – Fixed a bug that prevented DeskSpace from obtaining an image of a desktop if Windows took longer than 1 second to generate it.
  • Bug Fix – Switching between desktops using the mouse while over the taskbar now works again.
  • Bug Fix – Desktop window icon capture (i.e. when icons are displayed in the DeskSpace System Tray menu) is now more robust.
  • Bug Fix – Loading the desktop icon configuration is now more forgiving, DeskSpace will try to handle corrupt configuration files.
  • Bug Fix – If Explorer crashes, DeskSpace no longer moves all windows to the current desktop, it restores all windows on their correct desktop.
  • Bug Fix – Fixed a bug that would cause DeskSpace to lock up in rare circumstances.
  • Bug Fix – Fixed a bug that would cause DeskSpace to crash in rare circumstances.
