When TopDesk is running in tiled mode, Windows Media Player tries to play a video file over the top of the tiled windows. Every few seconds, a corrupted image of the video will flash over the top of the tiled windows.
This problem only occurs when Live Window Updates are enabled. To resolve this problem, Right-Click on the TopDesk icon in the taskbar notification area and select the Options... menu item to display the TopDesk Options dialog, then uncheck the Live Window Updates check box to turn off live window updates.
Depending on your video card and video card driver combination, this problem can also be resolve by changing the video playback options in Windows Media Player. To do this, run Windows Media Player and in the menu select Tools > Options to bring up the Options dialog. In the Perfomance tab of the dialog, click the Advanced button to bring up the Video Acceleration Settings dialog. Under Video Acceleration uncheck Use video mixing renderer, and under DVD Video uncheck Use video mixing renderer, then press the OK button.
