TopDesk Affiliates Program

Hi Guys/Gals,

We've recently switched our online store over to Plimus, and in doing so have gained the ability to implement an affiliate reselling program (it's currently inactive at the moment however). The purpose of this topic is to gather some feedback on this subject from the community. To this end, we have a couple of questions we'd like to ask:

1) How do you feel about us establishing an affiliate program? If we were to go ahead, we plan on keeping it small, with only a select group of fanatical TopDesk "evangelists" as members. Given the low price of TopDesk, we'd be offering a commission of 50% to make it worth affiliates time. This brings us to our second question...

2) Is anyone actually interested in becoming an affiliate, given the above criteria?

Well, I'm interested as it sounds good. In what way would it work from an affiliate's perspective and what would we need to do in that respect?

XalCore: We're currently working out exactly how we'd like to implement the affiliates program, and we'll provide more details on our plans early next week.

One thing I can tell you is that it won't be a "free for all" affilate plan, since we think that customers best interests are served by a small number of long term dedicated affilates, rather than a large number of uninterested short term affilates. We'll be looking for people that are willing to go the extra mile to promote or add value to TopDesk, such as users that have written a tutorial on using it with another program (or users that have written a utility enhances TopDesk and makes it a better application ).
