change cursor in desktop cube mode

Postby panicman » Tue Mar 09, 2010 5:25 am

Hi, I was able to hack this using Resource Hacker and the windows 7 default cursor file with 1.5.4.4.

Anyway to get 1.5.7.2. to work after using Resource Hacker, I'm guessing its a security thing to not be able to recompile the new resources in, and if thats the case, this is a feature request.

I hate looking at that stupid logo -_- on my cursor

You can't change the DeskSpace .EXE because it's digitally signed for security.

The idea behind the cursor was that you'd know when DeskSpace was active, even if the cube was at 0% zoom. However, if people are finding the logo ugly and annoying enough that they're trying to hack the DeskSpace .EXE to get rid of it then we'll have to see what we can do about adding an option to turn it off :)

Much appreciated.

The software is great otherwise!
