If you're using the no-install version of InBox, double click on the inbox.exe icon to run it. If you've installed InBox, start it by clicking on BoxingClever InBox » BoxingClever InBox in the Start Menu.
To begin downloading a file, drag-and-drop a CleverKey on to the InBox window. If you've received a CleverKey via email and your email application supports drag-and-drop, drag-and-drop the email straight on to the InBox window. If you've run InBox more than once on your system, you can also double-click on a CleverKey to launch InBox and start the download.
InBox downloads a file in a number of stages:
File Transfer
InBox first transfers the file from the webserver it's stored on to your Desktop.
Verification
Next, InBox verifies that the file it just transferred to your Desktop is actually the file that corresponds to the CleverKey. This step helps protect your computer from malicious files such as viruses and spyware.
Decryption
The file is then decrypted so that applications on your computer can read it.
Decompression
Finally, InBox decompresses the file back to its normal size; the file was compressed in order to speed up the transfer from the webserver.
Completion
Once the file has been successfully downloaded, you can click on the Open Downloaded File button to open it, or you can manually browse to it on your Desktop.
