Hi Larry,

Yes, with DeskSpace you can have different desktops with different kinds of files on each.

DeskSpace works with whichever folder is considered the "Desktop" folder, so it shouldn't make any difference if you use a different folder.

If you have any other questions about how DeskSpace works with desktops or run into any problems please let me know and I'll be happy to help.

I keep lots of files on my desktop. I'd like to have different desktops that would have different kinds of files on each one. Can I move files from one desktop to another with your program? Also, currently for backup purposes, for the desktop, I designate a different folder other than the default Windows XP folder. Will I be able to to that with your software? Thanks.

I'm very sorry to hear that, but I understand.

I'd really like to help you, but it's very hard to fix a problem without any information. Unfortunately that requires that I ask some brief questions and you provide answers the. This enables me to determine why there's a problem and how I can fix it for you. There could be a very simple fix for the problem you're experiencing, for example you could be using an old version of DeskSpace.

I understand there's a language barrier. Perhaps next time I'll suggest we use Google Translate to communicate.

Greetings!
I do not use other programs!
The trial licence at me has ended on your program.

I think that I will not buy it.
Probably in one year something to change!

Thanks!

If you can help me out by answering my questions, such as are you using any other programs that change the desktop icons, then it will really help me solve the problem you're experiencing.

Your desktop icons are being reset to the same position each time. Since DeskSpace only saves icon positions, something else must be setting them. The problem may be as simple as you using an app like StarDock Fences.

No!
I know it.
Automatic alignment works only once!
It means that it is necessary to do it constantly.

Porridge on a desktop not only at me.

Valera: Does right-clicking on the Desktop and selecting "View -> Auto Arrange" bring the icons back?

Are you using any other programs that change the desktop icons?
