Yes, with DeskSpace you can have different desktops with different kinds of files on each.

DeskSpace works with whichever folder is considered the “Desktop” folder, so it shouldn’t make any difference if you use a different folder.

I’d really like to help you, but it’s very hard to fix a problem without any information. Unfortunately that requires that I ask some brief questions and you provide answers the. This enables me to determine why there’s a problem and how I can fix it for you. There could be a very simple fix for the problem you’re experiencing, for example you could be using an old version of DeskSpace.

Your desktop icons are being reset to the same position each time. Since DeskSpace only saves icon positions, something else must be setting them. The problem may be as simple as you using an app like StarDock Fences.
